So please head over to our Divinity: Original Sin 2 page to suggest what rewards you'd like to see, and vote on the rewards that others have suggested! We'll want a lot of feedback as we progress, but right now we want to know what YOU want from the Kickstarter campaign. On the August 26th we'll be returning to Kickstarter with Divinity: Original Sin 2, but you don't have to wait until then to have your say. Without the community, Divinity: Original Sin would never have been the success that it was, and now we're asking for your support and guidance once again. Your feedback pushed us in directions we never could have expected, and we're so grateful for that push. But we can't reach that dream without your help.Īs we made Divinity: Original Sin, our fans and community gave us two things: the freedom to make the game that we wanted to make, and the guidance to make a game that was even better than we planned. Now it might finally be within our reach. Something even bigger, better, and more engaging than Divinity: Original Sin.

It's one of the reasons editors always manage to excite me - when done right - because for many gaming companies they seem like an afterthought, and I'm wondering if it is the same here (a fair concern IMO considering that it took them 3 years after release to finish up on it).It is with great excitement that we can announce our most ambitious project ever- Divinity: Original Sin 2!įor a very long time, we've dreamed of making a certain type of RPG. I searched even more which landed me on this thread, dated September 2017, which indicates that the editor still wasn't fully complete at that time.Įrgo: what's the current status? What can you actually do with the editor at this point? I noticed comments hinting at designing buildings and all that, but that's actually not what I'm looking for I'm more interested to know if you can actually create your own stories and encounters with this tool? Unfortunately I noticed that the original release didn't ship with one, or one which wasn't fully complete (beta) which added the risks of crashes.

One of the things that caught my attention was the level editor: when a game provides an editor of some sort which allows me to create my own scenarios and/or adventures that always scores high with me. I had this game on my wishlist for a while now and today decided to look into it a bit further.
